I'm sure there's lots of similar designs out there, but this is the one I built, and this is the one that works for me. It takes a phone extension in and outputs to the line-in interface on your sound card via a 1/8" phono jack. [ SCHEMATIC ] The audio isolation transformer is of the type you'd find on a typical modem, so that's probably the best place to score one. The RED and GRN in the schematic are the phone line inputs, and the ( o ) symbol represents the phono jack ring and tip.
